Payment Methods
The following payment methods are available on the Online Store:
- Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and JCB
- Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
- Regional payment methods displayed at checkout according to your location
- Cash on delivery for domestic orders within Japan
The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Credit cards and online payment methods are charged when the order is placed. Cash on delivery is paid when the order is received.
Dispatch
In-stock items are normally dispatched within three business days after the order is confirmed. Dispatch may take longer depending on the requested delivery date or product availability.
Domestic orders are shipped by Yamato Transport or Sagawa Express. Inventory is shared with our physical stores, and an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order is placed. We will contact you if this occurs.
Your order is considered confirmed when the order confirmation email is issued.
Domestic Shipping and Cash on Delivery Fees
Domestic shipping within Japan is ¥800. Free domestic shipping applies when the merchandise subtotal is ¥30,000 or more before tax, equivalent to ¥33,000 including tax.
For cash-on-delivery orders, the following handling fee is payable upon delivery in addition to the merchandise and shipping charges:
- Up to ¥10,000: ¥330
- ¥10,001–¥30,000: ¥440
- ¥30,001–¥100,000: ¥660
- ¥100,001–¥300,000: ¥1,100
International Shipping
International orders are shipped by DHL. Shipping charges are calculated according to the destination and shipment weight and are displayed at checkout.
Customs duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees may be charged by the destination country. These charges are generally the responsibility of the recipient. Please contact the customs authority in the destination country for details.
International orders are normally dispatched within one to seven days after confirmation. Dispatch may be delayed during periods of high order volume.
Returns and Exchanges
If you wish to request a return or exchange, please contact onlineshop@minotaur.co.jp within 7 days of delivery, stating your order number, the item concerned, and the reason for your request. For damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered items, please also include photographs showing the condition of the item. Please return the item only after receiving instructions and authorization from us. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
We do not accept returns for reasons of customer preference when the item is not defective.
Size Exchanges for Domestic Orders
A size exchange may be accepted only when the requested size is available and the item is unused and unworn, with all original tags, accessories, and packaging intact. Both the return shipping cost and the shipping cost for the replacement item are the responsibility of the customer. Return instructions and payment of the replacement shipping charge will be provided individually after you contact us.
Size Exchanges for International Orders
We generally do not accept size exchanges for international orders for reasons of customer preference. Damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered items will be handled separately.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrectly Delivered Items
If an item is damaged, defective, or different from the item ordered, MINOTAUR INST. will cover the necessary return shipping cost and provide an exchange or refund depending on product availability and condition. Nothing in this policy limits any rights available to customers under applicable law.
Refunds
Refunds for credit cards and online payment methods will normally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary depending on the payment provider and billing cycle.
For cash-on-delivery orders, the refund method, any applicable fees, and the processing time will be provided individually after the return is accepted.
